Introduction

Each sport that has been included with the Sports Organization Website has the ability to store individual player statistics within the Manage Your Team module.  The statistics that are stored are those commonly used by most minor sports teams, such as Games Played, Goals, Assists, etc.  Whenever necessary, position-specific statistics will also be available - for example a goaltender will also have Goals Against, Shots Against, Minutes Played, etc.  These player statistics will be displayed within your team's pages in two areas - a player statistics page which will list the entire roster with every player's statistics, and the individual player profile page (if profiles are enabled) which will show just that player's statistics but will also show career totals if more than one season's worth of statistics have been entered.

Prerequisites

Before being able to add player statistics, the team will need to have had its roster setup by the organization Registrar.  Then, all of the positions for the players will have needed to be entered so that the website can allow for position-specific statistics to be entered.  See the "How-To: Player Profile Information (Adding / Editing)" knowledge base article for instructions.  Next, the Team Privacy settings will need to be changed to allow for player statistics to be displayed.  See the "Team Privacy Settings Overview" knowledge base article for instructions.  Finally, to display individual player statistics for the entire team on a single page, a Player Statistics page will need to be added to the team's menu.  See the "How-To: Team Web Pages (Adding / Editing / Deleting)" knowledge base article for instructions.

Location

Control Panel -> Manage Your Team -> Games Centre
*Note - Player Statistics must be enabled in the Team Privacy Settings in order to enter stats on the Games Centre pages.  If player statistics are not enabled, you will not be able to enter the statistics.

Sport-Specific Statistics Available

Once player statistics are enabled there will be a large table on the Games Centre page for entering player statistics into the boxes provided.  There will also be a "Save" link located in that same area to update all the player statistics.  The following statistics are available for each sport:

Hockey (All Players): GP, G, A, PIM, +/-
Hockey (Goaltenders): GA, SA, MP, W, L, T, SO

Soccer (All Players): GP, G, A, YC, RC, FC
Soccer (Goaltenders): GA, SA, MP, W, L, T, SO
